Vintage Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 2.14ct
A beautiful Vintage diamond engagement ring from the 1950s era! Made of platinum, the ring holds a beautiful 2.14ct transitional round Brilliant Cut diamond at the center. The diamond is prong set and has I color and SI2 clarity. Framing the center stone are two tapered baguette diamonds, which rest at either shoulder in a "V" shaped bar setting with cathedral-style shoulders. The platinum band is smooth on all sides, and two airline cutouts appear below the baguettes, visible from the side. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified gemologist in March 2016 and has a stated retail replacement value of $27,800.00. This simple, yet stunning design looks lovely when worn and would make a perfect engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring currently has a finger size 5.25, but could easily be re-sized up or down if desired.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all three of the diamonds are intact.
