Vintage Platinum Marquise Diamond Engagement Ring 2.02ct
A gorgeous Vintage diamond engagement ring from the 1950s era! Crafted in platinum, this lovely piece has a stunning Marquise Cut diamond that is prong set prominently at the center. The diamond, which rests in a v-prong setting, weighs approximately 2.02ctw and exhibits M color and SI2 clarity. Framing the center are four delicate diamonds lining the shoulders of the band, two of which are French Cut and two which are Marquis Cut. These sparkling accent stones weigh approximately 0.25ctw and have J-K range color and SI range clarity. Delicate milgrain and hand-engraved detail travels along the sides of the band, completing the feminine design perfectly, and the tapered band is stamped "10% IRID PLAT" along the inside of the shank. The ring was appraised in October 2019 by an independent and accredited GIA-certified gemologist and has a stated retail replacement value of $8,500.00. It's a breathtaking piece and that looks spectacular when worn, and would make a special engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6, but could easily be re-sized if desired. The marquise diamond rests slightly less than 1/4" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and all of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
