Vintage Sterling Opalite Art Glass "Man in the Moon" Pendant
A wonderful Vintage "Man in the Moon" pendant from the 1960s era! This whimsical piece features an alluring opalite art glass center set within a sterling bezel frame. The design portrays a recognizable "Man in the Moon" face, which has intricate molded facial features for a realistic 3-dimensional look. The translucent art glass rests in an open back setting, allowing the alluring colors and soft iridescent quality to emit a range of milky colors that flash when turned in the light. Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting or to the molded opalite art glass, which is securely set and free of chips or scratches.
