Italian jewelry designer Aldo Cipullo apprenticed at his father's jewelry factory in Florence before moving to New York in 1959. He began his career working for both Tiffany & Co. and David Webb, but soon transitioned to work as a designer for Cartier, where he left his mark on jewelry history forever. While at Cartier, Cipullo designed the iconic Love Bracelet, the Nail Collection, and the "Hamsa Hand" or "Hand of the Heart" pendant. He left Cartier in 1974 to work as a freelance designer, winning multiple awards and continuing to expand his prestige. Though he died suddenly in 1984, his legacy continues today, and his iconic designs are still ever popular and fashionable in the modern era.

A stylish pair of earrings from famed maker Aldo Cipullo from the 1960s era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, these earrings have a fabulously simple left-right design. A golden spiral appears to wrap around the ear, secured by a post and a hinged omega earring back.  The backside of each spiral reads "© A. CIPULLO 14K". Perfect worn at any time of day, these earrings make a luxurious statement!

Measurements: The earrings measure approximately 7/8" tall, 13/16" wide, and 3/8" deep overall.

Condition: The earrings are in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The posts and hinged omega backings are secure and in good working condition.
