ANDRÉ RIBEIRO Estate 18kt Diamond Rubber Bangle Bracelet Set
Well known for his combination of rubber and diamond jewelry, André Ribeiro was born in 1953 in Bordeaux, France and studied jewelry design at the Fachhochschule for Gestaltung in Germany. In the 1980s, André started to combine the two "contradicting" materials with each other to create the stunning pieces. His jewelry line was distinguished in 1999 with the Red Dot Award and was a part of the collections of the New York Cooper-Hewitt Museum (1989), the Pforzheim Jewellery Museum (2003) and the Musée of the Arts Décoratifs in Paris (2004). Over 30 years later, his jewelry collection is regarded as "a classic" and complemented regularly with new models. André continues to be a freelance designer working and living in Berlin.
A fantastic set of edgy yet elegant diamond and rubber Estate bracelets designed by André Ribeiro! Each round, soft rubber bangle is decorated with sporadically placed diamonds, which are set within 18kt white gold bezel settings. The Brilliant Cut diamonds vary slightly in size, and are placed alone or in clusters to create a fantastic celestial-like appearance that looks incredible against the rich, black matte material. Two of the bangles feature the same diamond cluster design and are similar in width, which is slightly more narrow than the third bangle. The wider bangle is embellished with a diamond design across the entire outer surface, and is a perfect compliment to the more subtle pair of bracelets. These slip-on style bangles would look fabulous stacked together or worn with other similar bracelets, creating endless versatility. Both bold and fashionable, they are perfect for a stylish man or woman and would make a fun addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The inside of each bracelet measures about 2 1/2" in diameter, and would fit a medium to average sized wrist. The surface of two of the bracelets measures about 8mm wide and thick, and the third bracelet measures 9.5mm wide and thick.
Condition: The overall condition of all three bracelets is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there are no apparent damage to the soft rubber and all of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
