A wonderful turquoise chain from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! This long guard chain necklace is comprised of sections of 14k yellow gold chain which connect between eyeglass-set turquoise cabochon links. The natural turquoise displays wonderful shades of bright sky blue lightly speckled with brown mineral veins, pairing perfectly next to the rich yellow gold. The necklace is long enough to slip comfortably on and off overhead and it can even double up for a layered look. Completing the chain is a small yellow gold dog clip, which is stamped "14" for gold purity on the inside of the clip. A very versatile piece, this wonderful chain is perfect for everyday wear, and would delight any turquoise lover!
Measurements: The entire length of the chain measures approximately 58.5" long. The turquoise links measure about 3/8" long, 1/4" wide, and slightly less than 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold chain. The turquoise links are intact and securely set and the dog clip is secure and in good working condition.
