A stunning and unusual aquamarine filigree ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This beautiful 14kt white gold piece displays two gorgeous aquamarine stones that form the shape of a vertical bow at the center of a decorative band. Each prong set aqua is uniquely faceted, exhibiting wonderful sky blue hues that beautifully catch the light with every turn. The stones rest within a raised setting, which features ornate filigree wirework along the entire edge, with lacy cutouts throughout. An additional bow rests on either shoulder, above a lovely flower basket, both adding further embellishment to the stunning filigree design. A swirled carving adorns the band, which graduates slightly towards the back, and fine milgrain details finish the entire edge. A lovely and unusual ring, it would make a special addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6, but could easily be resized. The aquamarine centerpiece measures approximately 3/4" tall, 3/8" wide, and rests about 1/4" above the finger when worn. The graduated band measures 2mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting or filigree details. All of the stones are intact and securely set.
