Art Deco 14kt Carved Lavender + Green Jade Earrings
A gorgeous pair of multi-colored jade earrings from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! These beautiful earrings are crafted with 14kt yellow gold and feature a combination of traditional green jade and lavender jade, to create a fantastic and dramatic look. Each begins with a feminine wirework post surmount which has a floral motif front. A section of fine gold chain hangs below, wrapping around a large green jade ring. The vibrant milky green link encircles a smaller lavender jade ring which has a soft, blueish purple hue. Completing the design is a small green jade bead at the very center. All three pieces dangle freely, allowing for lovely movement when worn. These marvelous earrings look stunning on and make a beautiful statement. They would be a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2 5/8" long. The larger green jade rings have an approximate outer diameter of 1 1/8” and the lavender jade rings have an outer diameter of 1/2". Both rings are approximately 1/8" thick. The smooth jade beads measure approximately 4.25mm each.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or to the jade rings and beads. The posts and toppers are both secure and intact.
