Art Deco 14kt Diamond Filigree Engagement Ring 0.60ct
A lovely diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This beautiful piece is crafted in 14kt white gold and adorns an old Mine Cut diamond at the center of a decorative mounting. The prong set stone weighs approximately 0.60ct and displays H/I color and SI1 clarity, sparkling beautifully in the light with every turn. The raised mounting is decorated with flowing filigree wirework throughout, including 4 leaf motifs at each corner which create delicate cutouts. A subtle ribbed texture embellishes the top, bottom, and sides, adding a wonderful element to the design. Completing the look is a scrolling wheat motif that travels along the front and edges of the band, tapering slightly towards the back. It is a beautiful Art Deco piece that would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 5.75 but could easily be re-sized. The centerpiece rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn. The tapered band measures 1mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting. The diamond is intact an securely set.
