A wonderful jadeite necklace from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! This beautiful piece is comprised of a single strand of 95 jadeite jade beads which come together to form a classic and feminine beaded necklace. The round beads graduate slightly in size and have magnificent coloring, displaying soft pale and vibrant green hues marbled with milky white. The necklace is hand strung on white thread and fastens at an ornate 14kt white gold clasp adorned with a single diamond in the center. The simple design is very wearable and the piece would make a perfect everyday necklace. It would make a fabulous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The entire necklace measures about 27.25". The beads graduate in size, the smallest measuring approximately 5.5mm in diameter and the largest measuring 7.5mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the jadeite beads. The gold clasp and diamond are secure and in good working condition.
