Art Deco 14kt Faceted Carnelian Double Hoop Earrings
A fabulous pair of double hoop carnelian earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, each earring consists of two front-facing graduated carnelian rings which hang from a gorgeous topper. Both hoops dangle freely and have a faceted edge which catches the light beautifully with every turn. Finishing the design is a beautiful wirework domed topper embellished with light milgrain accents, and resting at the top is a kidney back earring wire. The translucent carnelian stones display rich, fiery deep orange and cherry red hues, perfectly complimenting the soft yellow gold. The earrings dangle with lovely movement and are wonderfully lightweight and comfortable to wear, creating a perfect look day or night!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 2 1/8" long, and measures 1 1/4" wide, and 1/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting. The carved carnelian is free of any noticeable chips or scratches. The earring wires are secure and in good working order.
