Art Deco 14kt Opal + Rose Cut Diamond Dangle Earrings
A gorgeous pair of opal earrings from the Art Deco (1920s) era! Crafted in 14kt white gold, each earring features two vibrant opals and an array of sparkling old Rose Cut diamonds. The earrings dangle from 14kt white and yellow gold lever back wires which hold a fiery opal stone in a simple prong setting at the front. Dangling below is a feminine elongated link which displays a second, slightly larger opal cabochon and twelve old Rose Cut diamonds. The ornate links adorn beautiful cutouts and milgrained detail throughout, and the opals display a vibrant display of color, with hues that include blue, green, red, yellow and magenta. This stunning pair of earrings frame the face beautifully, making them perfect for special occasions!
Measurements: The earrings hang 1 7/8" long (including the wire). The earrings measure 9/16" at their widest point and 1/4" thick. The opal cabochon tops measure 6mm in diameter. The lower opal cabochons measure 7mm in diameter.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting or wires. All of the diamonds and opals are intact and set securely.
