Art Deco 14kt Rock Quartz Crystal + Diamond Filigree Pendant
A stunning rock quartz crystal and diamond pendant from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Crafted in 14kt white gold, this beautiful piece is comprised of a rectangular rock quartz plaque which has a sparkling diamond set in the center. The old European Cut stone catches the light beautifully with every turn and rests within a box setting that is riveted into the center of the plaque. The rock crystal features a carved design on the back, which shows through to the front as a beautiful starburst design. Surrounding the plaque is an ornate filigree wirework frame featuring a gorgeous floral motif that resembles swirled vines, flowers and leaves curling around the edges and forming a lovely circle around the center diamond. The pendant hangs from a complimentary fluted bail which is stamped "14K" on the back. The pendant would look beautiful when worn from a favorite chain and make a gorgeous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pendant hangs approximately 1 3/8" long, measures about 3/4" wide, and is 1/16" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting or rock quartz crystal. The diamond is intact and securely set. The bail is secure and in good working condition.
