Art Deco 14kt/Sterling Blue + White Sapphire Cluster Stud Earrings
A gorgeous pair of earrings from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Crafted in rosy 14kt yellow gold and sterling silver, these classic stud earrings display a beautiful sapphire cluster. In the center of each is a beveled Emerald Cut blue sapphire stone surrounded by a halo of ten sparkling white sapphires. The blue sapphires, which collectively weigh approximately 1.20ctw between both ears, display wonderful deep cerulean coloring, contrasting beautifully next to the bright white encircling stones. The rose gold backing is visible on the mounting's underside, displaying a feminine, swirling design and the earrings attach to a 14kt yellow gold post. The earrings look wonderful when worn and would make a perfect pair of classic studs!
Measurements: The earrings measure slightly more than 1/2" tall, a little less than 1/2" wide and 1/4" in depth.
Condition: The earrings are in overall great vintage condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling and gold settings. There are some chips in the white sapphires, but this is not visible when worn, nor does it negatively impact the set's beauty and integrity.
