Art Deco 18kt Aquamarine + Diamond Bow Motif Filigree Ring
A stunning and unusual aquamarine and diamond filigree ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This beautiful 18kt white gold piece displays two gorgeous aquamarine stones that form the shape of a vertical bow at the center of a decorative band. Each prong set aqua is uniquely faceted, exhibiting wonderful sky blue hues that beautifully catch the light with every turn. The stones rest within a raised setting, which features ornate milgrain filigree wirework along the entire edge and shoulders, with lacy cutouts throughout. Finishing the design is a single old European Cut diamond which rests within a box setting, acting as the "knot" in the center of the bow. A lightly carved texture adorns the shoulders of the band, merging seamlessly into the graduated band. A lovely and unusual ring, it would make a special addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.5, but could easily be resized. The aquamarine and diamond centerpiece measures approximately 3/4" tall, 3/8" wide, and rests about 1/4" above the finger when worn. The graduated band measures 2mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting or filigree details. All of the stones are intact and securely set.
