Art Deco 18kt Diamond + Sapphire Engagement Ring 1.30ct
A lovely diamond and sapphire engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! This stunning filigree piece is crafted in 18kt white gold, and features a glittering 1.30ct diamond at the center. The old European Cut stone displays G color and I1 clarity, and rests within a raised North-East-South-West 4-prong setting. Set on each shoulder is a faceted sapphire baguette, their deep blue hue complementing the diamond center perfectly. Surrounding the stone is a gorgeous filigree mounting complete with delicate cutout accents and fine milgrained detail. Beautiful antique engraving travels along the sides of the band, which tapers in at the back, and is stamped "18K" along the inside shank. A gorgeous vintage piece, it looks enchanting when worn and would make a wonderful engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.75, but could be re-sized. The centerpiece rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn. The tapered band measures 1.5mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting or filigree details. The diamond and sapphires are intact and securely set.
