Art Deco 18kt Diamond + Sapphire Engagement Ring 1.33ct center
A gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Crafted in 18kt white gold, this beautiful piece features a stunning 1.33ctw old European Cut diamond prong set in an octagonal-shaped frame. The stunning diamond exhibits H color and VS2 clarity, beautifully sparkling in the light with every turn. The shoulders of the ring adorn French Cut Trapezoidal sapphires, one on each side, for a total of 0.50ctw of lush blue color. The ring's gallery has a wonderful filigree design, and the ring is completed with a lovely foliate engraving. This spectacular piece would make for a wonderful engagement ring for someone special!
Measurements: The ring fits a finger size of 6.5" but could be resized. The octagonal-shaped center measures slightly less than 3/8" wide. From sapphire to sapphire, the design measures less than 5/8" wide. When worn, the ring rests 1/4" above the finger.
Condition: The ring is in overall excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting. The diamond and both sapphires are intact and securely set.
