Art Deco 18kt Diamond "Step Up" Engagement Ring 0.47ct center
A stunning diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Crafted in 18kt white gold, this piece displays a gorgeous "step-up" mounting lined with sparkling diamonds. Adorning the center is a 0.47ct old European Cut diamond, framed by a trio of diamond "steps" that form the shoulders. The prong set center stone displays K color and I1 clarity, sparkling brilliantly in the light with every turn. Lining the steps of the mounting are 8 Single Cut accent diamonds, which weigh approximately 0.40ctw combined, adding even more sparkling radiance to the design. Fine milgrain details surround the accent stones, and delicate cutouts are visible below the mounting. Completing the design is a geometric engraved accent along the sides of the band, which tapers towards the back, and stamped twice inside of the shank are "18K" gold purity marks. A timeless and classic beauty, this Art Deco ring would make a very special engagement piece!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size scant 6.75, but could be easily be re-sized. The centerpiece rests slightly more than 1/8" above the finger when worn. The tapered band measures 1mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are intact and securely set.
