A beautiful rock quartz crystal ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Crafted in 18kt white gold, this gorgeous piece features a clipped corner rectangular-shaped rock quartz crystal plaque, which adorns a sparkling diamond set in the center. The rock crystal has a smoothly polished surface and a unique reverse carved starburst design on the back that shows through to the front, providing wonderful depth to the design. A Single Cut diamond is riveted into a box setting at the center, and is surrounded by an elegant swirled filigree wirework design. The plaque rests within a wide prong setting and features a border decorated with a fabulous Art Deco-inspired etched motif. The split-shank shoulder is embellished with an elegant floral design on either side, which trails into a smoothly polished band at the back, and stamped inside of the shank is an "18K" gold purity mark besides a hallmark. An incredible ring with a lovely Art Deco look, it would make a very special addition to any jewelry collection!
