Art Deco 18kt Sapphire Filigree Ring 1.50ct
A stunning sapphire filigree ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This gorgeous piece is crafted in 18kt white gold and adorns a single vibrant sapphire at the center. The prong set stone displays a beautiful, rich blue color and weighs approximately 1.50ctw, with facets that catch the light beautifully with every turn. Surrounding the sapphire is an exquisite filigree mounting, showcasing exceptional wirework, delicate cutouts, and fine milgrain work on all sides. The band graduates slightly towards the back, embellished with beautiful engraved detail in a subtle floral motif, and stamped inside of the shank is an "18K" gold purity mark. Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6 but could be re-sized. The centerpiece rests about 1/4" above the finger when worn. The graduated band measures 1mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting and the sapphire stone is intact and securely set.
