Late Art Deco Red Celluloid Double Heart Ring
A bold and funky celluloid ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! This charming piece is made of layered celluloid, which has been carved into a large rectangular shape and has a double heart motif. The band is translucent red and has cream colored stripes along the shoulders. The rectangular face of the ring is also vibrant red in color and has 2 raised, bright yellow orange hearts resting on the front. The face is surrounded by a wide, cream colored border completing the fabulous design perfectly. The ring is lightweight and very comfortable and looks fantastic when worn! A fun and interesting piece, it would make a fabulous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7.75 and unfortunately, the piece cannot be re-sized. The front of the ring measures a little less than 7/8" tall and approximately 5/8" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides minimal normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the celluloid ring.
