Art Deco Chinese Carved Crystal Necklace

An beautiful crystal necklace from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This stunning piece is of Chinese decent and features an oval shaped carved crystal plaque, which is worn as a pendant on a black cord necklace. The transparent crystal has an ornate image carved into the surface on both sides, reflecting the pendant's Chinese origin. The black cord threads through a hole at the top of the pendant, forming the long necklace. The cord, which is ornately braided, is accented with 17 carved crystal beads as well as 13 onyx spacers, which are dispersed throughout the necklace. It's a lovely crystal piece that would make a wonderful addition to any collection!

Measurements: The carved crystal measures 1 3/8" tall, 1" wide and is 3/16" thick. The necklace measures approximately 35" long with a 2.5" drop where the pendant hangs.

Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is great. There are a few minor chips to the crystal plaque and beads, but they are small and not noticeable when worn. In addition, one of the small onyx spacers is missing from the design within the necklace, however, this is hardly noticeable when worn. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the black cord.
