A wonderful festoon style necklace from the 1930s! This stylish piece is crafted in silver and has a lovely design that reflects its Chinese origin. Three rose quartz links dangle from the center in a graduated fashion, each with a pale pink translucence and hand-carved texture. Lining the chain are five smoothly polished jade beads, which have a wonderful pale green color marbled with milky white. A silver chain completes the necklace, fastening in the back with a simple spring ring clasp. When worn, the necklace drapes beautifully at the neckline, and its simplicity is both feminine and versatile!
Measurements: The necklace measures 16.5" long. The center extension hangs 3.5" long. The largest center stone is 1 1/8" tall and 7/8" wide. The vessel links measure approximately 3/4" long and 3/8" wide. The turquoise links measure between 3/4" to 7/8" long on average.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver setting or chain, or to the jade stones, all of which are intact. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
