Art Deco Filigree Platinum & Diamond 2-Stone Ring 1.98 ctw
A lovely 2-stone diamond ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This beautiful piece has two diamond stones that rest atop a delicate and ornate filigree mounting. The diamonds, which are old European Cut stones, have an approximate total weight of 1.98 ctw. One stone weighs .91 ct, has H color and VS2 clarity. The other stone is slightly larger with a weight of 1.07 ctw, I color and SI1 clarity. Each diamond is prong set in a milgrained octagonal box setting which sits atop the platinum wirework mounting. Resting within the mounting are 32 Single Cut and Old European Cut diamonds with a total weight of .50 ct, H-I range VS, SI clarity. The ring was appraised November, 2016 with a retail replacement value of $20,000. It is an absolutely beautiful ring and would look wonderful worn as an everyday piece or could make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6.5 but it could easily be resized. When worn, the ring sits 1/4" atop the finger.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the diamonds are intact.
