Art Deco Platinum Kite Cut Diamond + Sapphire Pendant Necklace 0.75ct ON HOLD
A unique diamond pendant necklace from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in platinum, this stunning necklace is comprised of a diamond and sapphire pendant which hangs from a complementary chain. Previously a stick pin which has since been converted for modern day wear, the pendant holds a Kite Cut diamond encircled by calibrated French Cut sapphires to create a dynamic halo design. The exceptional diamond has a total approximate weight of 0.75ctw and exhibits I color and VS1 clarity. The diamond, as well as the sapphire border, are framed by fine milgraining and the pendant hangs from a simple bail and jump ring. A modern 18kt white gold chain completes the look, marked "18K F" and "IDGC" next to its matching lobster clasp marked "18K". This pendant has a very special look, and would be a perfect addition to any Art Deco collection!
Measurements: The pendant hangs slightly less than 5/8" tall and is about 1/2" at its widest. The chain measures 18" long.
Condition: The pendant necklace is in excellent overall condition. Besides normal surface war, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. The diamond and all of the sapphires are intact and securely set. The bail and jump ring are both in good working condition. The white gold chain is in good condition and its lobster clasp is secure.
