Art Deco Platinum Diamond 3-Stone Ring 0.45ctw
A lovely multi diamond ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! This stylish piece is crafted in platinum and features a beautiful 3-stone design. Three Transitional Cut diamonds are set across the face of the ring, each prong set within an individual square box setting. The three stones weigh approximately 0.30ctw combined, with the center stone weighing about 0.14ct, and the side stones weighing about 0.08ct each. Six additional diamonds adorn the shoulders of the ring, three set on each side, together trailing into the smoothly polished band. The diamonds have a radiant sparkle and a fine wirework cutout design can be seen from the sides of the mounting. Stamped along the inside of the shank is "10%IRID PLAT. A beautiful and feminine piece, it would make a wonderful everyday piece, or a unique engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 4.5, but could be easily resized if desired. The face of the ring measures 1/2" across where the three diamonds are set, and a little more than 1/8" wide. The tapered band measures about 2mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all three diamonds are intact and securely set.
