Art Deco Platinum & Diamond Engagement Ring 1.14ct

A stunning diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This beautiful piece is made of platinum and holds a magnificent old European Cut diamond at the center of an ornately engraved mounting. The diamond, which is held in a square prong setting, has a total approximate weight of 1.14ctw with J color and VS2 clarity.  The sides and shoulders of the mounting display lovely delicate milgrained and hand-engraved detail complete the beautiful Deco design. The inside of the band is marked "IRID-PLAT". The ring was appraised in March 2023 by an independent and accredited GIA certified Diamonds Graduate, and has a stated retail replacement value of $11,000.00. It's a classic and feminine design that looks gorgeous when worn, and it would make a gorgeous engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring is a finger size 5 1/4 but it could easily be re-sized.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to the diamond.
