A gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! This stunning piece is made of platinum and holds a sparkling 1.69ct old European Cut diamond at the center. The diamond is prong set and has L color and VS2 clarity. Thirty-two delicate Single cut diamonds speckle the cushion-shaped filigree setting, the perfect compliment to the central stone. The filigree setting features gorgeous scrolling detail and intricate airways, illuminating the large center diamond from every angle. Completing the design on either shoulder are beautiful examples of delicate floral and wheat style engraving. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA certified Graduate Gemologist in June 2022 and has a stated retail replacement value of $18,000.00. When worn, the ring is quite radiant and has a beautiful and elegant appearance. It would make a very special vintage engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6, but could easily be resized up or down as desired. The center stone rests approximately 1/4" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or diamond stones, all of which are intact and securely set.
