Art Deco Platinum Diamond Engagement Ring 1.70ct center
A stunning diamond engagement ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! This beautiful piece is crafted in platinum and adorns a 1.70ct old European Cut diamond at the center of a lovely setting. The prong set stone exhibits L/M color and SI2 clarity, sparkling brilliantly with every turn. The raised mounting is graced with a diamond-lined fine wirework design, which creates delicate cutouts throughout, adding a wonderful feminine touch. Six additional old European Cut diamonds grace the shoulders of the center stone, while ten stones can be found along the sides of the mounting. The 16 accent diamonds collectively weigh 0.30ctw exhibiting H-I color range and VS2-SI1 clarity, making the overall diamond weight of the ring 2.00ctw. A delicate beaded accent finishes each side of the shoulders, and a smoothly polished band graduates slightly towards the back. The ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist in August 2019, and has a stated retail replacement value of $10,000.00. A visual masterpiece from all angles, this gorgeous piece would make a stunning engagement ring!
