Art Deco Platinum & Diamond Engagement Ring .60ct
A gorgeous diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Made of platinum, this beautiful ring has an artistic design, featuring a sparkling old European Cut diamond resting at the center. The center diamond is set within a square box prong setting, and weighs approximately 0.60ct with I color and VS1 clarity. There are eight smaller old European Cut diamonds that decorate the mounting, including a row of three bead set diamonds at either side of the center stone, and a single bezel set diamond that rests where each shoulder meets the band. The smaller diamonds weight approximately .13ct and have H-I range color and VS range clarity. The sides of the mounting display a filigree wirework design, and delicate milgrain detail surrounds the stones. An engraved wheat design travels down the sides of the band, completing the lovely design. Stamped inside the shank is "10% IRID P". The ring was appraised in October 2014 by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist and has a stated retail replacement value of $5,500.00. It's a delicate and feminine piece that looks beautiful when worn, and would make a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 6.5 but could be easily re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamond stones, all of which are intact.
