An absolutely exquisite diamond engagement ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930) era! The center diamond stone, which is an old European Cut, has a total weight of .89ct and is set in a lovely platinum setting. The color of the stone is L/M and the clarity is VS2. The diamond is set in a 4 triple-prong setting and rests high above the finger. Set within the mounting are 4 additional Single Cut diamonds, 2 on each shoulder of the mounting. These diamonds are prong set with H-I color range and VS clarity range. The ring was appraised by an accredited, independent Gemologist in DECEMBER 2014 and has a stated retail replacement value of $5,000.00. On the inside shank is the marking "PLAT". It is an absolutely magnificent diamond and would make a beautiful engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size of a small size 6.5 but it could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum or to the diamonds, all of which are intact.
