Art Deco Platinum & Diamond Engraved Eternity Band

SKU: 45430

A stunning diamond eternity band from the Art Deco (ca1934)! Made of platinum, this feminine piece is comprised of a single row  of sparkling old European Cut diamonds which runs three quarters of the way around the ring, each bead set within a box-style setting. Delicate milgrain work surrounds the stones, and fine hand-engraved scrolling detail travels along the side edges of the band and the quarter section of the band with no diamonds, adding an elegant touch. On the edged of the band, you'll see the original owner's names etched in the side of the ring, "Ed and Betty" with their wedding date in December of 1934. How sweet! The band is marked "PLAT" on the interior. This simple, yet stunning design would look wonderful worn alone or stacked with other complimentary bands. It's a beautiful and classic piece that would make an exquisite wedding band or anniversary gift!

Measurements: The ring has a large finger of size 5.5 but could possibly be re-sized slightly.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and all of the diamond stones are intact. Some of the engraving on the edge of the band is worn but that should be expected with the age of the ring.
