A beautiful diamond and sapphire engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in platinum, this stunning piece features an old European Cut diamond at the center of an ornate wirework setting. The stone, which has a total approximate weight of 0.96ctw, rests within an octagonal box setting and exhibits H color and VS2 clarity. Flanking the central stone are two rectangular French Cut sapphires which are each bezel set in a milgrained frame, giving the piece a vibrant pop of color. The ring's gallery displays feminine open wirework throughout and the ring is completed by a smoothly polished band. This lovely piece would make for a very special engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring fits a finger size 6 but could easily be resized. The ring's centerpiece design measures approximately 7.75mm wide and the band tapers to 0.7mm wide.
Condition: The ring is in overall excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. The diamond and the two sapphires are all intact and securely set.
