Art Deco Platinum French Cut Sapphire + Diamond Line Bracelet
A gorgeous sapphire and diamond line bracelet from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in platinum, this stunning piece is comprised of sparkling old European Cut diamonds and vibrant French Cut natural sapphires that carry along the entire length of the bracelet. The beautiful stones form a pattern of groups of five, alternating to form an attractive and bold design. With 20 in all, the diamonds exhibit G-I range color, VS1-VS2 range clarity and collectively have an overall total carat weight of approximately 3.50ctw. The 20 vivid sapphires are channel set in their individual box links and have a total approximate weight of 6.50ctw, displaying a beautiful deep blue color. Delicate milgrain detail surrounds each stone, and a beautiful engraved pattern accents the sides of the bracelet. The box settings hinge together and move freely, giving the bracelet a comfortable level of flexibility when worn. The piece opens and closes at a push clasp that is hidden within one of the links of the bracelet, and there is a hinged latch for added security. The bracelet was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist in June 2019, and has a stated retail replacement value of $15,000. An elegant piece, this versatile bracelet would be stunning worn everyday or for special occasions!
Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 7 1/4" long, and slightly more than 1/8" wide and thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or to any of the diamonds and sapphires, all of which are intact. The clasp and safety clasp both fasten securely and are in good working condition.
