Art Deco Platinum Heart Motif Diamond Engagement Ring 0.60ctw
A stunning diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This beautiful piece is crafted in platinum and holds a sparkling old European Cut diamond at the center of a decorative filigree setting. The prong set stone weighs approximately 0.60ct, exhibiting H/I color and SI1 clarity, and rests in a classic hexagonal shaped setting. A fine cutout frames the hexagon, adding wonderful depth to the shape, and resting on either shoulder are six delicate accent diamonds. Fine milgrain and beadwork embellish the shoulders and centerpiece, and a beautiful wirework design decorates each side of the mounting, complete with a pair of romantic heart motifs at the center. A smooth band wraps around the back, accented with a subtle grooved surface, and stamped inside of the shank is a pair of initials and a date, "J.F.E. to M.K.W.," "4-30-21" hand engraved in a beautiful script. A gorgeous and feminine piece, it looks beautiful when worn and would make a perfect engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 6 but could be resized. The hexagonal centerpiece measures a little more than 1/4" tall and wide, and rests slightly less than 1/4" above the finger when worn. The band measures 1.5mm wide at the back.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
