An absolutely magnificent diamond engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Crafted in platinum, this ring adorns an incredible Old Mine Cushion Cut diamond. Weighing an impressive 5.03ct, this diamond sparkles with incredible J color and VS1 clarity. The diamond is held by six prongs, and curling wirework fills the gallery. Dart-shaped shoulders each hold a Round Cut diamond, displaying a wonderful milgrain design and creating an elegant airline. The ring is completed by a polished platinum band. Accompanying the ring is a Diamond Grading Report (#5161158448) issued by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), giving a full evaluation of the center diamond. Additionally, the ring was appraised by an independent and accredited GIA-certified Graduate Gemologist in February of 2022, and has a stated retail replacement value of $150,000.00. This breathtaking diamond ring is positively radiant when worn, and would make the most spectacular engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring fits a finger size of a scant 6 but can easily be resized. When worn, the ring rests slightly more than 1/4" above the finger.
Condition: The ring is in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. The center diamond and the diamonds in the ring's shoulders are all intact and securely set.
