A stunning sapphire and diamond ring from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This dazzling ring is made of platinum and features a lovely oval cut sapphire bezel set in the center. The sapphire stone has a beautiful deep blue color and weighs approximately .85ct. Surrounding the sapphire stone is an absolutely gorgeous filigree mounting which is accented with sparkling diamonds. The sapphire is encircled by diamonds, and at each side of the sapphire is a delicate cutout design in a floral-like pattern. Extending onto each shoulder of the band is delicate engraving which makes a lovely feminine accent to the already glittering centerpiece of the ring. The ring comes with an appraisal by an independent and accredited GIA certified Gemologist. It's an enchanting piece and would make a wonderful everyday piece or a stunning engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5.25 but it could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum and the sapphire stone and all of the diamonds are intact.
