A stunning sodalite and rock crystal necklace from the Art Deco (ca1930s) era! This gorgeous necklace is comprised of a strand of deep blue sodalite beads, which are split in the center and separated by faceted rock crystal rondelle beads. The sodalite beads have incredible natural striations of lighter blues and are speckled with white and brown hues throughout. Rock quartz crystal rondelles serve as spacers in between the blue beads, giving the necklace additional dimension and sparkle, and the necklace fastens with a simple spring-ring clasp in the back. The contrast between the rich blue sodalite and the faceted rock quartz crystal makes this a perfect statement piece, and it would look fabulous dressed up or down!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 26" in length. The largest bead, which is in the center of the strand, measures approximately 1 1/4" long and is approximately 5/8" thick. The smallest bead measures 1/4" wide and 3/4" long.
Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to any of the beads or spacers, which are all intact and securely strung. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
