Art Deco Sterling Moonstone Beadwork Cluster Earrings
A lovely pair of moonstone earrings from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! Crafted in sterling silver, these hand-wrought earrings frame a trio of moonstones amidst a wirework and beadwork cluster. The moonstones have an alluring pale blue color and iridescent flash, and are held in open-back bezels. Coils of silver wirework and dotted beadwork surrounds the moonstones, contained within a circular border. Simple earring wires are attached to the top. When worn, the earrings hang just below the ear, framing the face beautifully. They would make a unique addition to any vintage jewelry collection, and are sure to delight the moonstone lover!
Measurements: The earrings hang about 1" long, including the wires. The circular cluster design measures 3/4" in diameter, and is about 3/8" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting, or to any of the wirework and beadwork details. All of the moonstone cabochons are intact and securely set. The earring wires at the top are securely attached.
