A simply beautiful citrine and enamel ring from the late Art Deco (ca1930s) era! Crafted in sterling silver, this lovely piece features a faceted, oval-shaped citrine stone at its center. The golden stone, which is substantial in size, has a rich yellow hue and is beautifully faceted along the front and back surfaces. Black and soft mint green enameling adorns the flat frame that borders the stone, displaying ornate silver line work throughout. The sides and shoulders of the mounting display a feminine wirework design complete with bow-shaped motifs and flowing floral cutouts. The inside of the band is stamped "STERLING". This fabulous ring would make a gorgeous addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 7.75, but could easily be resized. The marquis-shaped centerpiece measures a little more than 5/8" at its widest point, slightly more than 7/8" at the tallest point, and has a depth of 5/16".
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver setting or to the citrine stone, which is securely set and free of chips or scratches. There is some minor surface damage found within the enameled design, however, it is not noticeable when worn.
