Art Deco Style 18kt/Platinum Sapphire + Diamond Ring
An exquisite Estate gemstone ring with a fabulous Art Deco (ca1920) era style! Crafted in 18kt yellow gold and topped in platinum, this stunning piece adorns an octagonal shaped centerpiece which displays a rectangular blue sapphire at the center, resting within a raised yellow gold bezel. Embellishing the remainder of the centerpiece is a bold geometric design featuring sparkling pavé-set diamonds and rich blue calibrated sapphires. The sapphires have a total approximate combined weight of 0.55ctw and collectively, the diamonds have a total approximate weight of 0.50ctw, each stone reflecting the light beautifully with every turn. The shoulders are decorated with a pair of diamonds resting in an eye-shaped motif, and an ornate wirework design embellishes the back of the mounting. Fine milgrain detail graces the entire piece and the combination of the vibrant yellow gold and platinum creates a fabulous mixed metals appeal. Finishing the design is a smoothly polished yellow gold band that graduates slightly towards the back and stamped inside of the shank is an "750" gold purity mark along with "152 52 9." A perfect ode to the Art Deco era, this stunning ring blends beautifully into modern day fashion and would look stunning worn day or night!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 5.25, but could be re-sized. The octagonal centerpiece measures approximately 1/2" wide, 5/8" tall, and rests about 1/4" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold and platinum setting. All of the diamonds and sapphires are intact and securely set.
