A gorgeous sapphire ring from the Art Nouveau (ca1900) era! This fantastic ring is made of mixed 14k yellow and rose gold and features a single fancy-cut orange colored sapphire at the center of a four-prong setting, weighing 1.33ctw. The sapphire rests on a milgrain edge setting and is accented by two gold leaves on either shoulder as well as scrolling line work and an open gallery. On the shank you'll find a 14k gold purity mark. A special antique Art Nouveau piece, this sapphire solitaire would make a great addition to any collection.
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5 but it could easily be resized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The sapphire is slightly loose in its four prong setting, but the stone is secure and we have had it tightened by our bench jeweler.
