Art Nouveau 14kt Moonstone Cabochon Ring
A gorgeous moonstone ring from the Art Nouveau (ca1900) era! This lovely conversion piece is crafted in 14kt yellow gold and adorns an alluring moonstone cabochon at the center. The bezel set stone is very clear and displays a wonderful pearly blue color and strong iridescent flash that beautifully catches the light in its open back setting. Completing the design is a wide gold band that graduates slightly towards the back and features a simple, smoothly polished surface. A perfect everyday ring, it would make a versatile addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 5.75, but could easily be resized. The moonstone centerpiece measures a little more than 1/2" tall, 3/8" wide, and rests about 1/4" above the finger when worn.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The moonstone is intact and securely set. The stone exhibits a very subtle natural inclusion at the side, however it is not noticeable when worn.
