This floral bangle bracelet from the Art Nouveau period (ca1900) is quite spectacular! The piece is crafted in vibrant 18k yellow gold and has a beautiful repoussé motif that covers the entire outer surface. The design features an array of blooming flowers, which are beautifully carved and give wonderful depth and texture to the piece. Completing the artistry is a pattern of grooved ridges that line the edges of the repoussé design, a lovely finishing touch. The bracelet is hinged and clasps at the side, where a small safety latch provides additional security when worn. Stamped on the tongue of the clasp are two small maker's hallmarks that resemble butterflies or moths, "K18" and the initial "A" are engraved on the bangle's tongue closure. When worn, the piece has a striking and substantial appearance that would look beautiful grouped with other similar bangles. A very versatile bracelet, it would make a fantastic addition to any jewelry collection!
Measurements: The interior circumference of the bangle measures 7" and fits an average or slightly larger wrist. The width of the bracelet is 3/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there are no apparent dents in the gold on the outer surface, and the clasp and safety latch are both secure and in good working condition. The interior of the bracelet does show a few dents, but they are not visible when worn.
