Arts & Crafts Sterling Amber & Enamel Wirework Pendant
This amber pendant is a wonderful example of jewelry from the Arts & Crafts era (1900)! The pendant has an oval-shaped sterling frame, which has a swirled wirework design framing an amber cabochon. The amber is smoothly polished and displays a warm, deep yellow color. The border of the pendant is decorated with a bright green enamel design accented with crimson stripes. Three delicate enamel flowers rest atop the firework design, adding a lovely accent. At the top of the pendant is a simple sterling bail, allowing it to be easily hung from a chain. A very colorful and artistic piece, it would make a special addition to any collection!
Measurements: The pendant hangs 1 3/8" long, is 7/8" wide, and 1/4" at its thickest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting, enamel work, or amber cabochon. The bail is secure and in good working condition.
