Arts & Crafts Sterling Moonstone Dangling Earrings
A beautiful pair of moonstone earrings from the Arts & Crafts (ca1910) era! Crafted in sterling silver, each earring is comprised of an oval-shaped moonstone cabochon link which dangles from a round moonstone topper. The alluring moonstones are encased in smoothly polished open bezels, allowing the stone's iridescent properties and pale blue colors to flash in the light. A delicate interlocking link chain connects the moonstone link to the topper, providing a wonderful swinging movement to the design. Each earring hangs from a simple sterling wire at the top, allowing them to frame the face beautifully when worn. Perfect for the moonstone lover, they would make a special addition to any collection!
Measurements: The earrings hang 1 1/4" long (including the wires), measure just over 3/8" at the widest point, and are about 3/16" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting or to the moonstones, both of which are intact and securely set. The earring wires are secure and in good working condition.
