A beautiful turquoise necklace from the Arts & Crafts (ca1920s) era! This lovely and feminine piece is set in sterling silver and is comprised of 36 rounded and oval-shaped turquoise stones. All held within eyeglass bezels, sixteen rest along the main necklace while the other sixteen dangle in a stylish festoon design. The stones vary in size and shape but graduate towards the center, creating a dramatic, beautiful look. Ranging slightly in color from bright blue to deep turquoise, natural mineral spider webbing can be found throughout each eye-catching stone. A simple silver chain completes the necklace and a spring ring clasp (marked "925") can be found at the back. It's a wonderful piece that would look great worn day or night!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 19.5” long and the center stones drop nearly 1 1/4" in length. The turquoise ranges slightly in size with the smallest measuring 1/3" long and 1/4" wide and the largest measuring 9/16 " long and 3/8" wide.
Condition: The necklace is in overall excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver setting and chain. All of the turquoise stones are intact and securely set. The clasp is secure and in good working condition.
