A stunning engagement ring from famed maker Cartier from the late Art Deco (ca1930s)! Crafted in 18kt gold, this gorgeous ring centers a spectacular diamond solitaire. The Round Brilliant Cut diamond weighs 1.26ct with gorgeous F color and VVS1 clarity. The diamond is held within a white gold four-pronged basket. The ring is completed by a simple gold band marked “CARTIER” on the side of one shoulder and with the ring’s serial number underneath, next to the basket. The band tapers ever so slightly, and the ring is accompanied by a Diamond Grading Report (#6224133868) by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) issued in November of 2021, confirming the diamond’s specifications. The ring is accompanied by its original Cartier box. A gorgeous solitaire ring, this timeless design would make an exquisite engagement piece!
Measurements: The ring fits a finger size of 7 but can easily be resized. When worn, the ring rests slightly more than 3/16” above the finger.
Condition: The ring is in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The diamond is intact and securely set. The box is in good antique condition.
