Late Victorian Seed Pearl & Amethyst Necklace
A lovely amethyst necklace from the Late Victorian (ca1900) era! This charming necklace is comprised of a delicate strand of natural seed pearls that holds 29 graduated amethyst stones. Each amethyst stone has a gorgeous purple color and is beautifully faceted to catch the light when worn. At the back of the necklace is a complimentary push clasp, also adorned with delicate seed pearls, to fasten the strand securely. A very feminine and eye-catching piece, it would make a special addition to any collection!
Measurements: The entire length of the necklace measures approximately 18". The outer diameter of the largest amethyst stone measures 12mm, and the smallest measures 6mm.
Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the natural seed pearls, which are securely strung, or to any of the amethyst stones, all of which are intact. The push clasp is secure and in good working condition.
