Victorian 14kt Diamond + Demantoid Garnet Bangle Bracelet
A spectacular diamond and demantoid garnet bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880) era! Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, this hinged bangle features three sparkling stones set across the surface. Two faceted demantoid garnets rest on either side of an old European Cut diamond, all catching the light beautifully with every turn. The demantoid garnets are naturally green, displaying a wonderful and lively hue that pops next to the sparking diamond. Surrounding each prong-set stone is a hollowed out circle, creating the appearance that the stones are "floating" within the setting. Finishing the design is a simple and smooth gold bracelet band, the perfect background for the sparkling gems! The bracelet is hinged at the side, opening with a small button push clasp. Stamped on the tongue of the clasp are the letters "FR," now partially faded due to wear. The bangle's versatile design would look wonderful worn alone, or stacked with other complimentary bracelets. A gorgeous and feminine piece, it would make a stylish addition to any collection!
Measurements: The inside of the bracelet (where a wrist would rest) measures approximately 2 3/8" wide and 2" tall. It would fit nicely on a medium/average sized wrist. The surface of the bangle measures about 3/8" wide and 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and the diamond and demantoid garnets are secure and intact. The push clasp is secure and in good working order.
